Who we are
Interpreta Nutrition is a successful nutritional science and food regulatory affairs consultancy established by Catherine Dignum and Helen Rose in 2014.
We are both Registered Dietitians whose careers include clinical practice, research, working in the (medical) food industry and the UK government department responsible for food and nutrition policy. We have managed and collaborated with multidisciplinary teams including professionals in marketing, regulatory affairs, research and health care.
Interpreta Nutrition works predominantly with the food industry providing expertise in:
- nutritional product design
- nutritional research and associated medical writing
- food regulatory affairs and regulatory dossier content
We offer a fully integrated service, providing expertise on both nutritional science and food regulatory affairs, which is especially useful for work that requires cross-functional inputs. We have a particular expertise in the specialist nutrition sectors.
How does a Dietitian differ from a nutritionist?
We are both Registered Dietitians with the UK Health and Care Professions Council, and can be trusted to use the most up-to-date public health and scientific research on food, health and disease and translate it into practical guidance. Only those registered with the HCPC can use the title of Dietitian/Registered Dietitian (RD).
